Douglas Watson is currently in his 5th year of the Architectural Engineering program at Penn State University. In May of 2016 he'll graduate with a Bachelor's of Architectural Engineering, with a focus in Construction Management. He's in a number of professional organizations at Penn State including the Student Society of Architectural Engineers and the student chapter of PACE (Partnership for Achieving Construction Excellence).

Doug has interned for two companies over the past two summers; first with Massaro CM Services and then DAVIS Construction. At Massaro he was able to continue his summer internship throughout his fourth year, working part time on both the new Human Health and Development Building and the Materials Research Laboratory. At DAVIS he received his OSHA 30 hour certification and continued to develop professional skills such as authoring trade specific scopes, submittal reviews, shop drawing reviews, and construction coordination.

Outside of the classroom Doug is highly involved in his fraternity, Phi Kappa Psi, and the Penn State IFC Panhellenic Dance Marathon (THON). Through his involvement in THON, he was able to become 1 of 700 student volunteers to dance for 46 continuous hours in THON 2015. As an extremely involved member of his fraternity, he has helped his chapter receive numerous prestigious awards such as Chapter of the Year (2013 & 2014), The Distinguished Community Service Award (2014 & 2015), and the Presidents Trophy (given to the best chapter, fraternity or sorority, in all of Greek Life). He enjoys living an extremely active lifestyle, filling the rest of his free time with kayaking, sailing, snowmobiling, soccer, and golf.
